Use this calculator to determine the new stock price and the number of shares you will own after a stock split.
A stock split increases the number of shares in a company by issuing more shares to current shareholders. In a 2:5 stock split, for every 5 shares owned, shareholders will receive 2 additional shares.
Inputs:
Current Stock Price (₹): The current price per share of the stock.
Stock Split Ratio (New Shares Shares): The ratio indicating how many new shares will be given for each old share.
Number of Shares Owned: The number of shares you currently own.
Outputs:
New Stock Price: The adjusted price per share after the stock split.
Total Shares After Split: The total number of shares you will own after the stock split,
including any fractional shares.
Whole Shares After Split: The number of whole shares you will own after the stock split.
Refund Amount: The monetary value of any fractional shares after the stock split.
